The
Oak Park and River Forest Infant Welfare Society depends on generous
contributions and fund raising projects so that it can continue
providing health services to area children in need. Proceeds from
our annual Showcase House typically cover about 25% of the Infant
Welfare Clinic's annual budget. The
Oak Park and River Forest Infant Welfare Society, which consists
of members in eight circles (auxiliaries), is the only Infant
Welfare Society auxiliary in the Chicago metropolitan area that runs
its own clinic - the Infant Welfare Clinic of Oak Park and River Forest
- in addition to supporting the Infant Welfare Clinic in downtown
Chicago. All other Chicago area Infant Welfare Society
auxiliaries have only the downtown clinic to support. The
Oak Park and River Forest Infant Welfare Clinic had 4,477 medical and
dental visits in the past year, a 20% increase over the number of
visits during the previous year. Your generous support is
