About Us
The clinic provides services to children from birth to 18 years of age who live or attend school in Oak Park or River Forest, live in the surrounding suburban Chicago communities or who have a parent who works in Oak Park or River Forest.

The clinic services include:

    -dental examinations and treatments
    -physical and sport examinations
    -immunizations, growth and developments assessments
    -counseling; asthma patient education
    -referral assistance and selected laboratory testing. 

A sliding fee scale may be used and Kidcare/Medicaid may be billed when appropriate.

The Oak Park/River Forest Infant Welfare Society is a 501 C3 not-for-profit oraganization.

Founded in 1916, The Society is a community based organization with a mission to support the Infant Welfare Clinic in Oak Park, IL.  The Society actively works to fulfll it's mission by organizing fundraisers with proceeds going towards the funding of the Clinic.  The Society also partners with other community organizations dedicated to caring for our children.
Welcome to the Oak Park/River Forest Infant Welfare Society website.
The Society consists of over 200 women, including 23 on the board of directors, whose mission is to provide medical and dental care for local area children whose families are unable to afford the cost of private health care.
The professional clinic staff includes 6 dentists, a dental hygenist, a pediatrician, 3 nurse practitioners, a registered nurse and a social worker.  Society members also volunteer at the clinic.
