Dr.
Samore received her dental degree at the University of Illinois in 1986
and was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. She
is in a private practice and a clinical instructor at the University of
Illinois College of Dentistry, Department of Dental Hygiene. Dr. Samore
is a member of the American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental
Society. She has been an integral part of the Infant Welfare Clinic
since 1999. Dr. Samore enjoys music and art. |
Dr.
Karen Walker is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has
worked at the Infant Welfare Clinic since 1985. She received her
medical degree and pediatrics training from Loyola University Medical
Center. Dr. Walker's focus is on pediatric and adolescent health.
As the clinic physician, she has made presentations to TAPP (Teenage
Parent Program) and Parenthesis (a parent support group) on topics such
as immunization and prevention. Dr. Walker also maintains a
private practice, Pediagroup Associates in Oak Park, and is currently
chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at MacNeal Hospital. |
